Private building law regulates the legal relationships of those involved in a construction project, i.e. the building owners, architects, specialist planners and construction companies.
Public building law deals with the approval of buildings.
We see it as our task to advise and represent the building owner in the often difficult problems of acquiring land, financing and building permits before the „first spade is turned”.
The basis of private building law is the statutory contract law of the German Civil Code and the rules of the VOB (Procurement and Contract Regulations for Construction Services) as well as other special statutory regulations. We offer comprehensive advice to the building owner in the implementation of construction projects, starting with the drafting of contracts and in the further course of contract processing, e.g. in the pursuit of claims for material defects.
We advise and represent architects, specialist planners and construction companies in the enforcement of remuneration and other contractual claims and in the defense against liability claims. The possible conflicts require experienced legal support, which we guarantee based on both technical understanding and legal competence.
