Costs of legal advice and representation
Legal ignorance often leads to mistakes that can easily be avoided with qualified advice beforehand. Unfortunately, the consequences are often much more expensive than a good lawyer.
Qualified and comprehensive advice is not cheap. Good legal advice requires time, preparation and, of course, the necessary specialist knowledge. Understandably, this does not come for free.
Calculation of fees
In principle, our work is billed according to the fee regulations of the Lawyers’ Remuneration Act (RVG), provided that this covers the cost framework and we do not agree otherwise with you.
The amount of the fees depends on the economic importance of the matter (object or dispute value) and which activity is carried out in detail. Please speak to us about this.
We would be happy to suggest an appropriate agreement to you, provided this seems sensible in the specific case.
For representation in court, the legislature prohibits undercutting the statutory fee regulations by agreement. In these cases, we must generally bill according to the fee regulations of the RVG.
Legal protection insurance
Legal protection insurance usually covers the legal and court costs. Please note whether a deductible has been agreed.
Tell us your insurance company and your insurance number. We will be happy to take care of the processing with your insurer.
Legal aid and legal advice
Not everyone is in a position to cover the legal and legal costs from their own resources. If your income and assets are below certain limits and legal representation is not considered hopeless from the outset, you can apply for legal aid or legal costs. The state will then cover the court costs and the costs of your own lawyer for you.
